Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

Position Description

The key focus of the Continuous Improvement Manager is to provide relevant expertise in the leadership, deployment and transfer of recognized 'best in class' business improvement activities, standards and skills to enable us to fulfill the business plan's targets. You'll be reviewing and analyzing scorecard performance for the site teams to ensure data integrity, as well as generate insight and action improvement plans which develop current performance.?

Position Responsibilities

Lead the site Business Improvement plan, ensuring that cross functional teams are engaged to focus on the specific priority areas and have the appropriate tools and/or necessary support to utilize them effectively. A large part of the role will also require you to deliver training across the site, up to Six Sigma yellow belt, to build capability across all functions.

Not only will you focus on supporting and leading your team to deliver successful results for the business, you'll also play a key role in mentoring them to realize their own potential both now and in the future.

As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying resource requirements and will work closely with the Senior Leadership team to build appropriate teams to deliver the agreed programs of work. You'll also work closely with other sites within the US Division to share best practices and benchmarking to inform manufacturing unit application of tools and solutions.

You'll also provide coaching and hands on support for the use of foundation elements of the business improvement toolkit to build practical experience and ongoing capability. At every opportunity you will promote the development of a lean enterprise culture across all areas of the business, engaging key stakeholders to sponsor Business Improvement activity.

Position Requirements

We'll be looking for you to hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent Business Improvement vocational qualifications, and be Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certified as a minimum. You will have manufacturing experience in a recognized world-class lean enterprise and a proven track record of leading changes and delivering results as a Lean Six Sigma practitioner.

You will be PC literate alongside having strong analytical skills with the ability to plan and implement initiatives, and also have the ability to deliver effective behavioral training and coaching.
